Dear friends,
The time has come for me to set up a new website, those of you who subscribe to this blog by email will have received my new newsletter today or yesterday depending on your time-zone. If you have seen it, then no need to read further, you are set.
If you subscribe to this blog by email, but haven’t seen my new “first aid kit” reflection, please check in your promotion or spam folder and add me to your contact/inbox. Gmail thinks that blog posts are promotion, they haven’t got this right yet.
If you are a “wordpress follower” (you follow me through your wp account) and wish to continue receiving my posts in the form of my new newsletter, you will need to click here and subscribe at the bottom of the page because I can’t transfer you to my newsletter without an email address.
What to expect if you subscribe and keep following me? Roughly once a month I aim to share a brief reflection and a poem, something that inspired me, moved me and made me think.
Burnout, meaning, resilience and posttraumatic growth will continue to be my keywords, but there will be “a new angle”, as I work on my second book and explore new territories. Someone described my style as “both comforting and thought-provoking” and I aim to keep it that way.
I want my newsletter to be a welcome pause to your busy day, not yet another email that clogs your inbox, but a kind of “first aid kit for the soul”. Yours is the choice to continue to be part of my extended circle of friends across the world. If you do I promise that I’ll do my best to share with you reflections that are at once soothing and sharp, hopefully never banal.
While Mindfulnext will remain up for the time being as a resource for people in aid/social change/activism, I want to welcome all of you to my new home.
Salamat/سلامات
